BYOB for the month of April

Our second BYOB - Block Party was another huge success! There were 48 blocks turned in in total, so we had 4 winners! 1 for every 12 blocks!

New Block of the Month: The Circle Game!

Another Block of the Month club is here! Join the party as we scrap our way through the beautiful pattern for The Circle Game. This new pattern is originally from Australia! If you love circles and if you love using your own beautiful scraps, this is the quilt for you. The original pattern suggests hand sewing the entire quilt top but Gwen has completed this quilt with a majority of the seams sewn by machine and the concentric circles sewn down by either hand or machine appliqué. Learn new, easy techniques in using freezer paper for speed and precision. Hand sewing techniques and tips will also be provided. Quilters of all skill levels can make this quilt! You will love working from your stash and making this masterpiece truly your own.

Cartonagem Art Box Class

We had a box making class today and it was very different from our usual quilt classes that we have held! It was a wonderful craft project that Diana O'Connor held in which you created all sorts of boxes with fabrics that you love or have left lying around your house! It was a full house and everyone was able to finish their project before they left! The instructor will be creating Kits that will soon be available at our shop as well as holding a class!
